Terms & Conditions
These Conditions apply to any person ("Customer", "you", "your") who applies to book storage space and services ("Storage") from any provider ("Station") via the website available at LuggageStorage.io ("Website"). Storage is provided by each Station under the Storage Agreement entered into between a Station and a Customer in accordance with clause 3 of these Conditions.
1. Our Details and our Role
1.1 LuggageStorage.io makes available an online marketplace for Customers to find and book available Storage from Stations.
1.2 LuggageStorage.io does not itself act as a Station. Under the Station Conditions, each Station authorises us to act as the Station's commercial agent to negotiate and conclude each Storage Agreement with the relevant Customer under clause 3 of these Conditions for the supply of Storage, only on the Station's behalf. The geographical address and identity of the Station will be specified in the relevant booking information ("Booking") and the Storage Agreement.
2. Bookings and Fees Payable to Stations
2.1 To book Storage through the Website or Apps, you must register to create a data account in accordance with the Website Conditions ("LuggageStorage.io Customer Account") by following the instructions on the Website.
2.2 Each Customer agrees to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. LuggageStorage.io reserves the right to suspend or terminate your LuggageStorage.io Customer Account and access to the Website if any information provided to us by you proves to be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and agree that you will not disclose your password to any third party. You must immediately notify LuggageStorage.io of any unauthorised use of your LuggageStorage.io Customer Account by emailing info.luggagestorage@gmail.com.
2.3 When placing a Booking, each Customer will be asked to provide certain information, such as:
- Dates for dropping off and picking up items
- Number of items
- Any relevant notes to the order
Each Customer will also be asked to provide billing information, such as name, billing address, and contact details. The payment card will be debited at the time of Booking.
3. Storage Agreement with the Station
3.1 LuggageStorage.io Stations does not provide locker-based storage due to size limitations. Storage is provided using designated secure spaces within the Station's premises. These areas are monitored by on-site staff and covered by 24/7 CCTV.
3.2 Stations are responsible for:
- Restricting access to the storage area
- Supervising access during drop-off or collection
- Looking after the bags in their care
- Verifying a customer's booking confirmation
4. Prohibited Items
4.1 You agree that you will not store any of the following items:
- Valuables (phones, laptops, passports)
- Explosives, fuel, or hazardous materials
- Firearms, illegal drugs, or stolen goods
- Perishable food, plants, or animals
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Once a Booking has been confirmed, the Customer shall not have the right to cancel the Booking on their own initiative.
6. Insurance
6.1 LuggageStorage.io has arranged an insurance policy covering theft, loss, or damage up to $1,500 USD per Booking. Only bookings made through the Website are covered.
7. Liability
- 7.1 We are liable for loss resulting from our breach of these Conditions.
- 7.2 We are not liable for acts or omissions of a Station.
- 7.3 You are liable for damage caused by your breach or negligence.
